So we started our day with a quite good breakfast, definitely much better than the dinner buffet and we were ready to visit the famous Rila Monastery and Sofia.
The Capital City Sofia is a city that has an incredible vibe.
There are also lots of restaurants and plenty of places to visit. Fisrt of all the St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, a truly breathtaking symbol of Sofia.
A few words about the Famous Rila Monastery, which was our first stop of our lovely trip.
Rila Monastery is one of the most famous landmarks in Bulgaria and being founded in the 10th century, which also makes it one of the oldest. It’s almost a 2 hour drive, 120kms from Sofia, situated in the stunning Rila mountains.
